I provide driving lesson's in and around Sleaford/Grantham area. 

 

Your test day and lessons leading up to it will take precedence over my other pupils appointments.

Practical driving tests are conducted from Grantham Test Centre. Both urban and rural roads are likely to be featured in the driving test route.

The examiner will be expecting high standard of driving skills and safety when navigating road systems such as roundabouts, junctions and cross roads. Usually a single driving test manoeuvre will be requested, although occasionally a second is asked for, plus a 1-in-3 possibility of the emergency stop.

Booking your test during the quietest times of the day can often be beneficial. Book your test if possible outside of rush hour traffic.

You feel calm and confident.

Confidence is great! But, it needs to be tempered with calmness that allows you to stay in control when faced with unexpected situations.​

 

Coping with the unfamiliar.

Driving around familiar areas can easily become repetitive. Once you are able to drive you need to know that you can drive, safely. When you can move out of your comfort zone and drive somewhere completely new without losing your cool, you're in a good place to think about booking your test.​

Minimal involvement from me.

Think about how much involvement you have from me in your lessons. If I am no longer prompting, advising, or reminding you to do certain actions, chances are you are ready to go it alone.
